Our Story

The Short

Orexis Jewellery is a brand new jewelry company started by Charlotte Ørnberg in November 2021. Charlotte Ørnberg is a momtrepreneur with a focus on jewellery and animals. She is actually just me and my workspace is an office I have created in our home - my little creative space - and apparently also my cats' and children's playroom.

The Long

My name is as boring and Danish as Charlotte.

Or is it actually coming from France? I was raised in Jutland, now living near Copenhagen, have lived in Norway and I'm a Swedish citizen.

My journey in the jewellery world did not start when I was a kid, in fact I never thought this was a path I would go. I was going to a party and had a picture in my head of a particular piece of jewelry I wanted to wear, but could not find anything that fit that picture. Therefore, I ªΩcame to the conclusion that I could just make it myself. Then when I started researching, I was strucked by so many other ideas for jewellery I could make and that was the birth of Orexis Jewellery.

My starting budget was almost zero so the webshop and the pictures you find here are unfortunately not in super quality as I myself have made the shop and taken the pictures with my phone and I have no clue of what I'm doing. I promise that as soon as the budget allows it, there will be professional help!

Other than that I just want to say welcome and enjoy.
